DVD2 update?

The latest version of Vegas has been out for a couple of days now. Quite a few fixes included too. Much praise to SONY.

Ironically, I personally have not had any problems with Vegas. However, with DVDA2, I have had many.

A SONY Rep mentioned about the Vegas update two weeks before it was released.

What about DVDA2? Are we soon expecting fixes to the various problems? Or will it be quite a while yet?

Hey! Looks like CoffeeBean has the same thinking as I do. He just posted the same thoughts on a separate thread!

And in the thread announcing the Vegas update, a Sony rep has already said that a DVDA update should be out within a few weeks. ;-)

Well! Won't that be nice. Here's counting. 10...9...8...7...

Only thing I've seen is the burn process doesn't ID the disc speed properly
so I have to set it. Also don't like to drop in AVI's rendered from the timeline of
Analog captured video as the CBR setting in DVDA-2 will make a lot of judder
in fast moving scenes. The MPEG2 VBR render from the timeline eliminates
all of the judder. This isn't a problem with DV captured video.
