DVDA 2.0 - - - - Customizeable MENU TRANSITIONS?

Here's the concept. It's simple - (and i thought version 2 had it, but I cannot seem to make it work).

For the sake of simplicity, let's say i have only 2 menus.
One is the main (jpeg 01). The second is a submenu (jpeg 02).

In Vegas, i rendered a (2 second) avi video dissolving jpeg01 into jpeg02.

I want to insert this short 2 second video somehow INBETWEEN Menu1 and the submenu, so that when the submenu is selected from the main menu, the dissolve video plays, and then the submenu is loaded. The resulting effect should look like a simple dissolve transition of the menus.

IS THIS POSSIBLE in DVDA 2? I know DVD Lab allows you to do this with it's "connections" window. (but i'm more comfortable with DVDA).

Thanks in advance.

You might try using end actions for this.
First select the menu clip and got to the properties window and set the end action, select the trasition video for what to do after the menu is selected.
Then select the transition clip and set the end action for the clip, select the submenu for where your DVD should go after the submenu clip is selected.
You can even tell DVDA what clip you want it to go to when it switches.
