We have a Matshita DVD-RAM LF-310 that is 2 years old and the error message is a follows:

The drive worked fine with DVDA 1.0 after we upgraded the firmware but have had no success burning with DVDA2. We can still burn successfully with DVDA 1.

So are we out of luck with this model or is it something other than a drive compatibility issue that we are experienceing? Or will a different firmware version possibly solve our troubles?
