Answered my own question. You can install it and run the trial version but you have to buy Vegas Pro to register it.

Take Care!

DVDA5.2 works correctly with VP10. It was included in the update package from 9 to 10. Serial was included

Remember VP 9 runs with DVDA5.0. You can have both DVDA 5 & 5.2 installed at the same time.
If you then uninstall DVDA5.0 it will stop 5.2 working. You will now need to uninstall 5.2 & re install it.
Dolby Pro_AC3 will now be working in VP10 but not VP9.
If you again need Dolby Pro_AC3 in VP 9 then DVDA5.0 will have to be reinstalled.
Just updated my XP system and had forgotten this problem which I first encountered on W7.

I don't own VP10, just VMS HD Platinum. I want DVDA 5.2 Pro because you cannot make a Blu Ray disc with 5.1 surround with DVDA 5.0.

There have been offer emails from SCS recently, discounts on software etc. If you don't have DVDA then go for the latest.

I posted info to help those upgrading from DVDA 5.0

Nothing to loose by trialling for 30 days.

Best of luck Geoff
