DVDA and non media triggers

Hi Gang,
My boss wants me to create a DVD that has buttons for three videos (no problem) but also has a button for launching an application (resident on the DVD) and a button triggering a website. Is this possible?
Please advise.

No, it's not - the DVD Video spec has no concept of internet connectivity. The closest thing you could do is create a DVD Video disc which tells the user to put the disc inside a computer's DVD-ROM drive. A program in the DVD-ROM area could then launch the web site.
