I used Ulead Moviefactory. DVDA is way ahead of it in almost every respect.

Yes, that's really clear in the trial version I downloaded. Looks great.

I want to add a series of commentary tracks from family members to a WP transferred video, from 16mm movies done in the 1940s and 50s. No way to do that in Ulead, but DVDA looks perfect.

Are there any guides that give hints on the best way to do these commentaries. I am not sure if I should use a separate recorder for each of my brothers, then make each a separate track. Seems like the best way.

I could really use some kind of guide on how to put this together. Help!

As for commentary tracks, I would definitely put commentary audio on a separate track from music and whatever other audio you are adding.
