DVDA error reading mpeg file

I spent the morning struggling to burn a DVD and encountering an error message: DVDA had an error reading an MPEG file. This was as the Prepare Module was creating the 13th video obect of 20.

It turns out that one of the MPEG2 files I had burned in Vegas 10.0e was not to its liking.

The file in question included a track with another MPEG2 that had been burned in Vegas 10.0 (I don't know which alpha revision). I looked at the file in Media Info, and the only difference I can see between this rogue MPG2 and what I am producing today is the bitrates - they are lower on the rogue than on the MPEG2 I am producing today.

Removed the MPG2 from the Vegas project, redid the content, and rendered out ... all is well.

Rogue MPEG2 OK MPEG2

The forum software really butchers table formats. Trying code tags. Much nicer.
