DVDA - fading subs

Hi there. I haven't been here for a while so I'd like to say..... hi!
Last July I rented a movie called TAXI starring Giselle Bünchen and which subs fades in and out. I've noticed the same feature on the newest releases. Simple question: Can DVDA do that?
Thanks in advance.

Sure it can. Create and render the transisition pieces in Vegas and then using "end action", link the current menu page to the transition for the next page and then set the end action of that to the next menu page and then from that to the next... you get the idea. Fairly easy to do but, from what I have seen, you have to build each page manually as some of the automatically created pages (as in the create sub from movie option) won't allow you to change the end actions. Still fairly easy to do though.

Keep in mind this is for DVDA3. I'm not sure about the other versions.

I'm sorry Dr. Lumen, but you say....
...link the current menu page to the transition for the next page and then set the end action of that to the next menu page and then from that to the next...

-I'm talking about subtitles and not menu pages. Anyway what you mention as easy in fact would take ages to do, if applied for subs. Don't yu think so?
Anyone else, please????
Thanks in advance.

You're right, it would not work for subtitles but is used all the time for submenus.
