Hi all,

I just burned a DVD last night using single movie mode. One long show, no menus, no additional chapter points. The DVD plays fine from the start, but if you fast forward into the disk, then hit play, the video jerks around and audio is muted (AC-3 stereo). Sometimes, after a few seconds it will stabalize and resync and play. This problem effectively eliminates the use of fast forward and reverse. The DVD was authored from a VV4 rendered mpeg2 at 9.8mbps CBR. I'm wondering if that is too high a bit rate. I'm going to try re-rendering to 8mbps CBR and see if that makes a difference.

Any ideas?
