Is there a way to move a picture compliation from DVDA to Vegas?

The picture complilation feature of DVDA is simple, but lacks the power of cross fades and trasitions. Vegas is very powerful, but lacks the simple interface of DVDA for picture compliations. I'd like to be able to prep a slide show in DVDA and then move it to Vegas to add transitions. Is this a possible future direction for this product family?
