DVDA munched Vegas

And here was me thinking Vegas 6.0 used way more CPU than it should and / or it was time to retire my older edit system.
Well things got really bad yesterday and DVDA started to warn it was likely to run out of space for preparing a DVD. A liitle obvious digging around revealed DVDA had left many, many 'prepare' folders half of which were full and the rest just empty folders.
End result after some serious cleaning up DVDA and Vegas 6.0 now runs way smoother.
Yes I know, do some housekeeping Bob.
Should listen to the 'trouble and strife' more I suppose.

Bob.

P.S. That's 'wife' for those who don't speak Strine.

Good discovery Bob - I'm sure many like me would like to check this - how did you identify all the folders that had been left?

p.s. That's not Strine, it's Cockney!

Actually it's rhyming slang, I think?
Might need Grazie's input.

Look under C:\documents and Settings\xxx\Local Settings\Temp\My DVD where xxx is who you're logged in as.

You can in DVDA specify any folder for the prepare and I assume you can change the default.

Here's another terrible boo boo that DVDA helped me create. You know how it is, client needs DVD mastered NOW. And silly me didn't watch and made a COPY of the last prepared DVD instead of preparing and then copying. So due to the panic client duplicates 100 or so copies without checking the master and sends out a historical doco on a long defunct psych hospital instead of a kiddies football game.

But the even funnier part is no one rings up to complain, see this hospital was in the same area as the football club, so people start ringing up asking for more copies, so my client is asking "ah which football match was that you wanted a copy of ?....???!!!"
