DVDA2 Problems

Having three problems so far with DVDA2, that I didn't experience with DVDA.

1 - Burning to DVD+R on HP DVD200i doesn't work. I have another post about this.
2 - Menu buttons configured as text on the main menu don't have text after burned to a DVD. However the mask highlight is there.
3 - Burning lead out went from 2 minutes to 5 minutes to 1000 minutes on a 4 minute video and never finished.

Very frustrated and disappointed in this release.

How long did you wait? I had a lead out on a DVD-RW that took 15 minutes. I think part of this is the 1x bug with the Pioneer A05 that I reported in an earlier thread, but apparently part of it is due to how DVD-RW (and I think DVD+R and DVD+RW) are written.

I waited about 15 or 20 minutes before I cancelled. I noticed the percent complete went slowly from 0% to 99%, but when it hit 99%, it sat there for about 5 minutes. My concern was that it would go forever and damage my HP DVD200i.

I'm trying some other tests today.

Thanks John

Had the same problem with verison 1. "They" replaced the drive with a Plextor 708a(?) that also doesn't work worth a darn. As stated in earlier threads, I have NEVER has a stitch of trouble with Sony DRU/DRX burners.
