DVDA4.0b not burning!

I have a HP DVD 940 that can't get past the lead-in burning phase since I installed the 4.0b update. I also see the same problem with my other burner - HPDVD200i

Both of these DVD burners worked fine before the 4.0b update.

Has anyone else seen this type of behavior?

I burned with my Plextor 716A and there was no problem at all to DVD-R.

I have the same problem.It won't go past the burn in. Sometimes it does, and I have an unuseable disk. I've got a Pioneer DVR-`09 wiht the latest firmware installed.
