I am getting an error message in DVD Architect beta as follows:
Dvdarch has caused an error in USER.EXE
Dvdarch will now close.
If you continue to experience problems,
try restarting your computer.
Here are the steps that caused the error:
1. Start the program
2. File - Properties, added an .avi file to both the Video and Audio (the same avi file)
3. Added another .avi file to the main menu
4. In the Object Properties for that menu item, checked Animate Thumbnail, changed the frame to the one on the far right in the first row.
5. Last, I clicked on Modify - this is when the error occurred.
Further testing shows that I can start the program, add an AVI to the main menu, and clicking on Modify causes the error. The additional steps are not needed. I also tested with different AVI files and the same thing occurred.
This computer is an HP Pavilion, Win ME, 384 Meg Ram, 60 Gig HD, NVidia Vanta video card.
