DVDAS bug with linked text/image?

in DVDAS i am creating a project that consists of three videos. on the main menu each video has an icon with text below it. i have my highlighting style set to "text rectangle" so only the text is actually highlighted (the highlighting box does not cover/obscure the icon). i did a right-click/link/text and image on each icon so that the image and text are linked.

when i do a preview in dvdas, i can click on either the text or the icon to start the associated movie. but when i burn it to a dvd and play it back in windvd 4, clicking on the icon no longer works. i have to click on the link text.

is this a bug in dvdas or windvd 4?

I would guess it's probably a not even a bug, but just difference of opinions between various software developers as to how the DVD functions are supposed to work. The DVD specification is really more of a set of suggestions than anything else. Some players may not support all features. You might find it works perfectly in other playback software or in actual DVD players.
