Are you asking if you can author a DVD that features both 24P clips and 60i clips, on the same DVD?

If so, the answer is yes. I just did this for the DVX DVD (http://www.dvxuser.com/articles/dvxbook/), some clips were appropriate for 24P-only, and some required 60i (specifically clips where I was comparing 24P strobing against 60i motion, etc). Each segment was rendered separately, then the DVD was authored in DVDA-2 and it plays back just fine...
