I've never looked at ebay, but our dollar is worth a lot more lately so I might buy something. What is the link to the cheap DVX1000 guy?

Hi,

pb, do NOT buy one of these!! Just go to ebay and look up Panasonic DVX100 and
you will see this guy selling a bunch of them. He has a picture of several boxes
of them on his stairs! I posted about him a week or so ago. Ebay is fine, when
it is honest, but this has scam written all over it. I assume they are stolen.
He has several insertions on ebay, go look... <M>

Has anybody tried to call this guy to get more info, he puts his phone number in the E-bay ad.

Somebody over at DV.Com sent him money and hasn't heard for a month. He was
on e-bay last week too, trying to sell them off for $1800 each. Then that
deal vanished. I am just surprised he wasn't challenged by e-bay somehow.

If anybody's interested in an honest deal on a not-so-glamorous 1-chip camera, they can view my auction of EBay. Since I've only sold one other item there and he didn't give me a rating (no complaint came my way, although I'm ashamed I pawned off my Pinnacle Studio and didn't even tell him about Vegas), I have no user ratings. Therefore I would fork out for escrow if need be.

My "secret" reserve price is $800.
