dx plugin register module problem, CDA and VV4

Jacose wrote on 2/12/2003, 10:59 PM
for some strange reason I had to rename the program files folder of CD architect from [CD Architect 5.0] to [CD]

and I had to rename the vegas video 4 folder to [Vegas]

because when the program started, it kept complaining that it couldnt find some module, and I noticed that none of my direct X plugins were showing up..

it works now, after the rename, but pretty weird!

Pretty weird alright. How did you figure what to remane the folder to ?

Sounds like you disabled 8.3 filenames. Here's more information and the fix:

Either that or he has messed up long filenanmes by cloning a disk with XCOPY instead of XCOPY32.
