Dynamic ram preview not working in pro 16 suite

MAGIX VEGAS Pro 16 Suite running on Intel i7-4790K @ 4.00 GHz, 32gb ram 64 bit, Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1.

In all versions in the past, I go to preferences and click "video". Then I go to the top section to Dynamic Ram Review and increase the default ram from 200 MB to 15000 MB. I hit apply, close program and relaunch. I highlight a selection of video on the timeline and hit shift + B. It would normally ramp up and I can play back my video in real-time. This time even with the playback window at the top right set at Preview/half or Draft/quarter, shift + B does nothing. It does not move nor does it work at all.

Pls, help.

Reboot your system. Does the problem persist?

HOw much ram do you have?

Does the 15000 dynamic ram show up in your preferences in the video tab?

I never really used dynamic RAM preview. Instead, selectively prerender. Using this method it's possible to create prerendered preview for a longer part of the project without sacrificing insane amount of physical memory.

You said you highlighted a selection. What you need to do for RAM previewing is setting loop region.
