easier keyframes editing please

Id like vegas to have a better keyframe editing. What I mean is, I miss the cursor in the keyframe field. I use vegas for music videos, and when I have a loong video piece in the timeline, its very hard to set in a keyframe in it at the right place. I do not have this problem when I work with f.ex. the composite envelope, cause with that one I can play the footage and press pause at the point where I want to use the "add point" option f. ex. and then I can zoom in, always having the cursor and the other tracks for orientation.
When I try to add a precise keyframe like that in the keyframes area of the Event Pan/Crop or Event FX menu, I have no idea where I am, so it would be very helpful if the cursor was visible in the keyframe menu there.

Have you tried turning on the little lock to the left of the keyframe timeline?

You are using the sync cursor?

Also, you can move keyframes right on the timeline with those little diamonds that appear under the particular track.

The cursor IS visible in the FX work area. Its the thin vertical line. Maybe you don't have the workspace large enough. Click on its top icon button (show properties) set to 75% or larger. You can if you want even undock and make the window still much larger. Once you sync the cursor to the main timeline (already discussed above) the work area time is just a minature of the main time line.

I find it VERY easy to make very precise adjustment. Insert a keyframe, then click on it and while holding your left mouse button down drag, the results will show in your external monitor and if you're synced, be simple to adjust.

In fact if I'm in a extreme fiddle mood, I may click on each notch on the timeline in the keyframe generator and make micro adjustments to pan and crop setting may 20-30 keyframes over the span of 15-20 seconds. Vegas responds flawlessly.
