Easy question... how to apply master video fx

Gang,
I've applied effects to the master audio mixer plenty in the past. I now have a need to apply some video effects to a multicam video project with shots on several video tracks. I could just apply the video effect manually to each video track... but there must be an easy way to apply it to the whole project...

This has gotta be a dumb question... help?!?
Jeff

easy peasy...drag and drop the video fx on to the preview window

Never tried that way (first thing tomorrow, I will) but another way that I use all the time to apply the "timecode" fx...

View>Video Bus Track

You can then route any Video tracks you like to the "Video Bus", in the same way you would Sound tracks to "Audio Bus Tracks".

Whatever FX you put on the Video Bus will appear on everything.

You can also apply to entire clips in the Project Media window. This is handy for color correction entire clip segments.

word of warning about applying to video bus/preview window:

If you do that & then render to "new track", the resulting file will have the FX applied to it. so when it's on the track again, you have a rendered version with the FX & will be re-applying the FX again on the mater video bus. :)

Hey Thanks! I never even noticed the fx button on the preview window! That's exactly what I needed in this case.

There's a similar button at the top of the audio mixer for project-wide audio FX, too.
