Easy Question: Still Durations

I have to believe this is an easy question to answer, but I can't find it anywhere. I'm doing a video for a friend of all still pictures. I have inserted 188 stills and three songs. I'd like an easy way to select all the pictures and edit their duration at one time in order to match the timing of the songs. HOW?! Thanks!

Select all the pictures you want to adjust together. Press G to group them. Ctrl-drag the end of the last picture left to shorten them all or right to lengthen them.

Thanks for the quick reply. I still must not be doing something right. I grouped the pictures as you said, but when I ctrl-drag, it only affects the last picture. It shows they are all grouped, but I don't get how to change the duration of all the pictures simultaneously. Also, even though they are grouped, when I drag one to move the group, only the one picture moves. What am I doing wrong?! I know it must be easy, but it's just not working for me! Thanks!

Maybe you have the 'ignore event grouping' button turned on. It's the one on the toolbar that looks like a padlock.
