Easyprompter now does mirrored text!

Easyprompter just added the ability to do mirrored text:

http://www.easyprompter.com/

It does it by using a special downloadable backwards font.

Mirrored text isn't supported on the portable version yet (the version that works when you don't have Internet access), but I've been told by the developer that this is also in the works.

I just wanted to mention how much I like this program. Thanks John (Craftech) for bringing it to my attention.

I used it last week with a laptop and an external 24" LCD monitor, it worked great!

Just letting everyone here know that the portable version of Easyprompter now does mirrored text. The way it works is as follows:

Go to this link: http://www.easyprompter.com/portable.php

Right click on the Download EasyPrompter Portable at the bottom of the screen and save it somewhere.

When you want to use EasyPrompter Portable, click on the "EasyPrompter.htm" file to start it in your web browser. The advantage of the portable version is that you don't have to have an Internet connection when you use it.

If you want to use the mirrored text feature, you need to download and install http://www.easyprompter.com/downloadfont.phpthis[/link] mirrored font.

If you stick your laptop on a stand just under the front of the lens of your camera, you'll have the cheapest teleprompter arrangement known to man. I used this setup yesterday and it looked great. Yes if you look carefully you can see that the eyes are looking slightly below instead of directly at the camera, but hey, the same is true if you use a setup like http://prompterpeople.com/below_lens_model.phpthis.[/link]
