Edit clips

I just started using VP9 f rom Media Studio 7, but I'm having a tough time. Can anyone tell me how to cut clips to edit them on the timeline? I have looked everywhere and cannot do it. What is the easiest way? Help appreciated

1) Position your cursor
2) Press "S" to split the event
3) Click-Drag the event edges to edit the clips

Under HELP there is a listing for KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS. You can learn alot about the capabilities just from that.
