I've just about finished editing my latest project. It was a 3 camera shoot with an additional track of audio from a digital recorder.

I actually have published a version my website, but it is a few minutes over one hour. For my cable access TV version I have to trim it to one hour or less.

I have tried numerous times and, while I know the segment I want to remove (about five and a half minutes in one chunk) the project always gets 'messed up' with seemingly random video chunks overlayed in the wrong place. (thank goodness that I did incrimental saves of the project)

I tried with both auto ripple on and off, no difference.

Then I realized that maybe it may be the multi-cam track itself that is giving me the problem. Do I need to render out my project first before I can cut a portion out for the finished cut?
