Edit Sanyo Xacti HD1000 HD in Vegas?

I am interested in this Camera. Does anyone know if the Sanyo Xacti HD1000 HD Camcorder can be edited in Vegas? thanks

As long as you have the latest quicktime installed, it should work.

Also, go to Vimeo.com and make a search for "xacti". A number of results will come up, and if you are lucky, some of these files might not have been re-encoded by the user before uploading, and so you could download the original xacti files to try them yourself on your Vegas Platinum.

Before you buy the cam you could possibly download someone's samples from the net and test them out.
