Editing in High Def

The program is very slow to digest and impliment chocies and changes to the story line when I'm set-up in High Def. Is this normal??

"very slow" is not very exact. What is "slow" to one person is "normal" to someone else and "fast" to a third.

What TYPE of HD are you editing, and what are your computer specs?
