I have a file that I recorded from my PVR that I want to edit in Vegas 5. It is an MPEG 2 file with AC3 as the audio.

When I try and drop it into the timeline for editing, the audio does no add - only the video.

Can anyone explain why Vegas does not appear to recognise the audio yet it is capapble of producing files with AC3 audio?
