I was having a problem with Vegas Video and my 1394 card,
as I was putting the problem down in words to post to this
forum, something occured to me, which I tried, and lo and
behold, the problem was fixed.

The only complaint I have about Vegas Video is the funtion
to export EDLs, it seems a bit useless as I can't
understand why the hell anyone would want to edit video
with any other program!! :-)

Vegas Video, is robust, intuitive and totally brilliant. I
love it, I've used Premiere (including v6 Beta) and Ulead's
MediaStudio 6 and in my opinion neither hold a candle to
Vegas.

Please pass on my congratulations to everyone involved in
producing such a fantastic tool.
