It depends on what you mean, Frederick.

You can't load a PDF into DVD Architect and then have it display on your DVD player, if that's what you're asking.

However, the program does have a feature for creating an Extras folder on a DVD in which you can add photos a documents that can be browsed to a computer.

Thanx for the reply Steve. Can you give a few details as to how to add the non-video files folder?

I work for a non-profit environmetal protection agency and we want to send out some DVDs to schools with short videos showing simple things to do to protect the environment. We want to include lesson plans as either WORD docs or pdfs. It would be great if we could put all of our media on one DVD.

Thanx for the link. One question, I haven't burned anything yet but I added an extras folder to my DVD. In the preview screen, I don't see any reference to an "extras" folder. WIll anything show up on the menu screen or is this something hidden that can only be accessed via "explore disc"?

I looked up "extras" folder in the help section and it says as I suspected, the extras folder won't show up in the menu and can only be accessed via exploring the disc. I guess maybe I'll create a menu background that lets the teachers know there is other printable material on the disc.

Thanx for all the help.

you could cut and paste the info/text on to the menu pages or put in to Vegas and use the scrolling title and then place in DVD

I'm gonna make a video background with text scrolling about the extras file. It should work out fine.

Hi,
Is it possible to make the menu button to the content of the folder EXTRAS and start on a computer for example .exe file?
Steve Grisetti wrote on 11/20/2011, 8:33 AM
No. The only way to access the Extras is by browsing the disc on your computer.

OK. Scripts are defined or maybe can I run your own?
