End Action wonkiness

Hi all.

I'm trying to teach myself DVDA. E-gads!
I have opened sample.dar from the disk and found that what I wanted to do is do-able, but there is some weirdness.

I want to have a seven second intro-splash that comes up once the DVD is put into the player, and then I want it to go to the main menu.

In my project file, for end actions, the only options I have are: "command", "hold" and "activate button".

In the sample project file, DVD2A_Sample.dar, the end action commands are "link" and "stop".

How do I get link and stop?

TIA

Chris
ps--any pointers on how to get started in this, from a webmasters perspective, would be kindly appreciated!!!

You don't need end actions to do this. Just add your 7-second video to the project overview and set it to be the introductory media. The main menu will follow.

I could come over to your house and explain it ALL to you in about 3 hours. Oh yeah, no need to 'cause it's all on my training videos ! :-)

End actions are for the actual video, not the menu or the button. Make sure you double-click on the button to get the video that it points to. Then you'll be able to set the end action.
