end actions problem

i have 5 menu choices on a menu page. the items are in 1-5 order in the proj overview.

end actions: 1>2>3>4>5>main menu. works fine in dvda 6, but not when burned.

1>2>4>5>3 and 3 has no next.

been a while since i made a dvd, am i missing something?

I assume that you mean in DVD preview?

End Action has nothing to do with "prev" and "next". You need to use the Navigation Tool to set the remote navigation actions.

If you are using the NEXT button on your remote, that has nothing to do with END actions. The NEXT button, normally takes you to the NEXT chapter. Some DVD players will use the end action but not all. If your file has no chapters, normally, next will take to you the next physical file on the disk.

If you want your videos to play in the correct order using the NEXT button on your remote, you need to define the physical order of the files on the disk, but the last will still not have a NEXT.

The END actions can be considered a script that is run when the video is over. If you hit the NEXT button before the script is run, then it uses player default actions which can vary.
