Enough is enough...its ON now!!!

Every time I ask a question in here, it seems that someone has to question my credibility, tho that has NOTHING to do with either the question OR the answer. I hate to do what Im about to do, and havent for so long, as I think its rather distasteful, but here goes:

Since it is my credibility that is questioned OVER AND OVER, I ask that impartial users of this forum go and see what they can find as examples of my work ( I being: Aaron Carey, Pipelineaudio, Vintage Recorders, or Studio Z) in publishing/info sites like AllMusic.com , MARC marking sites, google searches, or wherever you might find credits hanging out, and also do the same for rednroll, whichever name he wants to give.

It doesnt matter to me who shows up with *MORE* but I think youll find I am credible enough to ASK QUESTIONS without being attacked for those questions

Im sure Ill be attacked for this post as well, but so what

Oh the drama...Peter...Peter!!! Please help me Peter, I can't take it anymore, Red is kicking my ass again.

Are you sure it's Aaron Carey? Or is it "Angelic Records"??? or is it "Audioman". It doesn't matter where your name is on the internet, you've proven to everyone in this forum how non-credible you really are.

Tell us how to route SMPTE and sync external devices or how to achieve the shortest path for a signal so that it goes unaffected, and maybe you can prove some credibility. Tell us how to work Vegas without having "auto-input". Tell us "WHY" you need ASIO to monitor properly. Last time Peter asked you that question, you came back with 3 replies and he told you how incorrect you where on all three. NOW that's credibility!!!!
Rednroll wrote on 11/11/2002, 2:09 PM
This one threw him over the edge as you can tell:

Wow, this is funny!!!

Did you know, whenever you post something up on the internet, it sends information like your IP address along with that other information? That's why Windows will give you a warning when sending information over the internet, of "warning this information can be viewed by others". Also, when you post information to a forum (like this one) your IP address is able to be grabbed while you're uploading this information? Police use this tool all the time, when trying to track down people doing fraud over the internet, a friend of mine is a detective and has shown me some of their techniques. All you need to grab this information is the right software and to be running it on the forum where things are getting uploaded. What a coincidence, I was running this on these very forums and wouldn't you know it. Pipeline and Angelic Records have the exact same IP address. Which means either it's the same person, or two different people sitting at the same computer.

I'm always one step ahead of you pipeline, man that's got to really burn your ass when I make you look like a total idiot once again. Throws any of your credibility out the window doesn't it?

"Pipeline and Angelic Records have the exact same IP address. Which means either it's the same person, or two different people sitting at the same computer"

bullshit, a total lie...lets see these "same IP adresses". I can assure you that only I am not audioman or angelic, and also that noone else here uses this PC.

So now as the curtain drops, and you are about to be exposed as the FRAUD you are you gotta resort to telling OUT AND OUT LIES

funny stuff

I was really thinking the same thing Ben. Everytime this "Audioman" post some crap, there's angelic right behind him to wipe his ass.

Whatever, I love the drama and misery I'm creating in their lives. It just shows me I'm unattentionally making an impact on people. I hope they're not losing too much sleep, because I know I'm not.

So, what now? I cannot agree with someone without disrupting
rednrolls little dictatorship, or being accused of not being man enough to
think for myself, now I must have 2 usernames, huh? First he thought audioman was pipeline,
now I must be audioman, ck angelicrecords.com at internic for my info.
At least I don't hide behind a hotmail acct like you rednroll.
How paranoid can one be?
CLEAN UP YOUR ACT, rednroll,
AND LET'S GET BACK TO BIZ,

*************************
AND NOW PIPELINE IS ME,,,

rednroll,
Don't you have a mix SHOUTING at you for SOME HELP? I know that you do.
get a job, GET A LIFE, whatever, stop wasting our time with this stuff.

Rednroll wrote on 11/11/2002, 2:20 PM
You're in way over your head, you can't lye your way out of this one. But keep trying, I'm really enjoying this
Chienworks wrote on 11/11/2002, 2:38 PM
Sorry Red, you've got a problem here. You've just admitted installing snooping software on SonicFoundry's server. Did you get their permission to do this? I'm sure they'd like to know how you go through their firewall.

On the subject of IP addresses, very few home users have static IP addresses. Even many small business have dynamic IP addresses. This means that every time the connect to the internet, they have a different IP address. Depending on the ISP they use, these addresses might be shared across the whole country. AOL in particular is very chaotically arranged. An AOL IP address can change it's assigned location to anywhere on the continent from one moment to the next.
Rednroll wrote on 11/11/2002, 2:54 PM
Well Chien, admittantly you probably have a lot more experience on the IP stuff than I do. But I'm sure you can probably confirm, if you're signed into the internet and you log into a forum under one username, and then just log in under a different username without disconnecting from the internet or restarting your computer, then your IP address would remain the same? And what are the chances of two different Sonic Foundry forum posters having the same IP address being at different locations and logged in at nearly the same time? I'm gonna be a bettin man and say the chances aren't very likely. I probably have a better chance of winning the lotto 5 weeks in a row.

"You've just admitted installing snooping software on SonicFoundry's server."
Oh, is that the technical explanation for what I did? Ok, sue me then.
Angelic_Records wrote on 11/11/2002, 3:01 PM

YOU GUYS ARE SPENDING WAY TOO MUCH TIME ON THE COMPUTER, LOL
I would do a "who is" at internic for angelicrecords.com
http://www.netsol.com/cgi-bin/whois/whois
write me a letter, email me, or call me,
then ask pipelineaudio for similar info,
and stop this foolish speculation.

Chienworks wrote on 11/11/2002, 3:08 PM
Angelic Records, there's no need to have to probe your computer to find out your IP address. Your computer broadcasts that information every time you request any file/page from the 'net. The server you request it from has to know this information in order to be able to send the requested information back to you. The only exception to this would be if you are behind a proxy server (software firewalls are not proxies). So, your current IP address is known to every website you visit, whether you have your firewall software running or not.

Ooh, good to know.

FFS, I think I speak for everyone else on this forum when I say "Stop Bickering!"

This is an Audio Forum - we're supposed to be pro users who know what they are doing with a vast amount of knowledge that we can share with others in order to increase our "collective" knowlege.

I fail to see how any of these threads have increased said knowlege when it comes to engineering, production and master.

Jues.

that would be nice, but I think its past that...its not ME that attacks and calls for credibility every time I post a thread asking a question, not even adressed to said Fraud. Go back and see for yourself

now its time to put up or shut up

<<Did you know, whenever you post something up on the internet, it sends information like your IP address along with that other information?>>

Kids,

Don't worry. He's playing with his squirt gun again. He's just learned the term "IP address" (now he just has to learn how to read them. LOL).

For example he thinks I'm "Angelic" something...
Who does he think YOU all are btw?

Really....whaaaa????

Look up JoeD again genius (I've always and always will be just "JoeD" - wake up. It's rather sad seeing you like this at this point).

Pipe?: Do you really care what some hack thinks of you? May as well stop bantering with him, especially after reading his latest posts (IP addresses...????).
He's lost man.

Go to www.prorec.com and ask all your questions - you'll get more than enough answers from a lot of more than qualified people.

I doubt much you have any kind of access on Sofo forums and you may have only grabbed your own IP address. Sofo is running IIS and the software is recording the IP only in logs (if configured) or in the internal forum database. The only other IP you can have there are the Sofo ones and your own.

I don't know if PipelineAudio or you are more competent in audio things.
And I doubt competence in audio stuff can be judged on technical knownledge.
When you hit play on some musical material, you can have a real opinion.
I only wonder if your knownledge on internals about sofo software compares on your statements on IP...

I'VE GOT IT!
This is just a ploy by the Sonic Foundry marketing department.
Everyone knows that people all over the world love to read flame wars.
So in an effort to direct more and more people to their site, Sonic Foundry
has created these lovable characters PipelineAudio, JoeD, Rednroll and
others. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if none of these people really exist
except as tools used by the government, I mean Sonic Foundry marketing,
to increase sales.

Microsoft and Apple are doing it ... everyone knows that those two companies merged
back in the early nineties. Those commercials are really the same tactic. It's all owned by Disney anway. They started buying every major corporation back in the 20's, and we all know who owns Disney. They were behind prohibition, the A-bomb, and new-wave hair-styles.

But wait, now I'm not sure if I really exist, what if I'm just another character
in this ongoing marketing melodrama? Ohhhhh, the irony! JoeD am I you or are you me?
MyST wrote on 11/12/2002, 9:59 AM
This is even more twisted than my conclusion.
Unless... Chienworks owns Disney!
Chienworks wrote on 11/12/2002, 11:55 AM
Nope. Disney's not mine. I just had my lackeys at Pixar dream up this whole thing as the next animated feature film. That's all.
MyST wrote on 11/12/2002, 12:03 PM
I don't think I'll be bringing my kids to see this one. :)

Probably just as well. It's a horror flick and i won't be going to see it either.
decrink wrote on 11/12/2002, 2:17 PM
I just want to go on record stating that I am not nor have I ever been Chienworks, JoeD, Redroll, Pipeline or anybody else. I'm not worried about my credibility because I have none.
