How much free, clean, freshly defragmented space is left on that 250 gig hard drive?

If it's less than 20--30 gigs, Vista may not have room to open the program.

37 G free on that one, the program is installed on another drive that has a 1.5TB free. All the rest of the programs in the Sony Suite open fine.

THANKS for your reply.

What happens if you install DVD Architect on your C drive?

It's not really designed to be installed on a drive other than the one where you have your operating system.

Good call Steve. I should have thought of that. However all of the rest of the suite runs fine from the other drive.
I also cleared out 25G on the C drive and defragmented. All the drives had been defragmented previously within 5 days of the error.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE
