Error Code

I got an error message when trying to render a project to any form of
.wmv file. The error code displayed was 0cx00d0bc2. I've tried to track it down but have had no success. I am running Vegas Video 3.0c(build 138) on a Toshiba Satellite 5105 laptop. It renders other formats fine.
Any clues as to what the code refers to or where to look would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have the latest Windows Media Player installed?

YES or at least the "Check for Updates" feature says so.

I've only gotten error messages like that from Vegas if i'm using the Direct Sound driver instead of any one else. This it under Preferences-Audio Device (i think).

Thanks for the input (Friar) about the Sound device. It was set on Sound Mapper and I changed it to Classic Wave Driver but didn't work.
I discovered that I listed the Error wrong. It's Error 0xc00d0bc2(message missing). I'll try another search with the correct code and see what I can find.
