if someone can help me on this topic..
While doing Print to Video Tape on Vegas video 4.0d. it says,
error creating media file 0x8007001f
It happens while rendering the .W64 file.
kindly help.

I'd love to know if anyone'd found a solution for this, I have a friend who just completed his first large project in Vegas and is running into this now and it's driving him batty (which is a short trip to begin with). He's just about ready to reinstall Premiere.

Please check the render, temp and prerender paths- do the target drives have plenty of free space?

He tells me, "well, the prerender drive had 7.5GB of free space, and the temp drive had 4.75GB space on it." Total timeline length is 1:02:19.

He's trying to output direct back to MiniDV (Canon MiniDV camcorder with firewire hookup); a possibly related issue is that the auto-control option isn't available; it allows manual record control only, although the initial capture was done with full auto control.

as a quick test, render the project-length audio to file, using wav64. Does that work?
