Made mpgs using Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8.0
In DVD Architect Studio 4.5 -
12 videos in project to burn on one DVD
2 of the videos use "scene selections" (total 3 pages)
I burned my master at 2x on Sony DVD-R (1x - 16x) disks.
Sent my master to a duplication house. They tested master and wrote back re problem:
"Your DVD master reported the following errors when tested:
descriptor and tag location fields disagree"
I wrote them that one of the mpgs created in Sony Vegas Movie Studio had 20 markers. When I worked on the project in Architect, I moved one marker, saved the project and burned the DVD master. I viewed the DVD without finding any problem.
They agreed that this could be the problem, so -
I deleted the mpg from the project in Architect Studio.
I opened the suspect video in Sony Vegas and reset the one marker to where I wanted it. I then burned the mpg - saving it with a new file name.
I loaded the new mpg into the project in Architect Studio (redoing all the menus and scene selections).
I did not alter any markers in Architect Studio.
I burned the DVD again at 2x, using "Prepare the current project to a specified folder." I believe it showed about a 65% "Estimated reuse" at the next step.
I sent them the new master and they have reported finding the same error.
Is there any test I can use to find the problem and correct it?
What is the cause of this error?
