error during prepare stage

I am getting the following error:

Warning: an error occurred while writing a file. invalid data was encountered when processing an MPEG file.

I need help fast, project is due and this is the first time I have ever received an error. What do I do

remove mpeg files one at a time from DVDA & see which one gives you the issue. Then "fix" it (re encode, etc ).

I am getting this message now. It's intermittent. I have re-encoded the same stream five times - two were passed and three got this error. Any ideas? Thanks!

I think the Happy Friar's post would still apply... Something's *off* with the mpg2. To track it down you could try another encoder, another source, or maybe filmerit to see what happens when you reduced the merit (priority) of some of the DS mpg2 related filters installed. There are also a few tools for checking your stream & the encoded mpg2 at videohelp.com - while not intended for that purpose, I've often tracked down problems opening the de-muxed mpg2 (.m2v) in ReStream.

Thanks. There was a buggy file (video artifacts of some sort) in the render. All is well now. Thanks!
