Howdy all,

I am seeing the following error during file capture. I was able to capture tape yesterday from my recorder without any issues. I don't know what has changed. Has anyone else seen an error of this sort before?

Warning: A failure occured in capture

An exception has occured

Error renaming becca_00002.m2t: Could not find file "F:\My Videos\CaptureTemp_0001.m2t".

Please let me know if I can be more helpful in supplying additional information to help troubleshoot this problem.

Thanks,
Todd

Are you capturing to a local drive (F:)? If it's a network drive or slow-attached storage device then you could be experiencing disconnections or timeouts. Capturing needs a lot of bandwidth. Try capturing to an internally-connected hard drive.

yes, I was capturing to a network drive. I thought I had tried to capture to the local c drive at the time, but I tried it again this evening, and it worked! Thanks!
