error message

in video capture when i try to send my movie out a error message says "invalid device was specified", can someone help please

are you sending the movie out to a DV camera through a 1394 card? The error message you describe would be pop up if the file was rendered to the wrong format.

If it is for DV out, use the "NTSC DV" avi template unmodified. If you are using some other mjpeg card, check their manual for the correct render settings.
