Error message

Every time I try to load up my video in-progress file, I get an error message: "An error occurred during current operation. An exception has occurred." I click on OK, and nothing happens. I click on the X in the upper right hand corner and nothing happens. I then have to CTRL+ALT+DELETE and "End Task" and start all over. Can't get any work done. I'm running Windows 98SE, 128 megs RAM, 450 mHz, 18 gig HD. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm not a propeller head so go easy on me. Thanks.

vegas 2 or 3? Try moving the .veg file to a different folder. Then if it asks where the media is, tell it or have it search. That has worked for me in the past on corrupt files. This is a crash, though, so who knows. Contact tech support?
