Error Message at Vegas Start-up

Hello everyone.

I'm been getting an error message saying
"an error occured starting vegas"
"The reason for the error could not be determined"

I been doing alot of sound editing on a movie tracks lately..I doubt that is the reason for the error message I'm getting. Understand Vegas 6d loads up and usable. Everytime I start Vegas I get this message. I deleted Vegas and clean-up my registry and all files, then re-stalled Vegas and added again install patch 6.0d. Started it up again and still getting the error? Is Vegas missing something from previous patch like 6.0c? I went 6.0a to 6.0d.

I look back at previous posts but could not find anyone running into this problem.

Specs on my old outdated rig:

Looks like no one has run into this problem here.

One of my fellow Wingman Productions name THX-1138 came up with a solutions to issue.
To make my computer run better I disable some un-necessary Services under "Administrative Tools." My friend told me to check if I turn off "Terminal Services." I indeed turn that function off and when I turn it back on....the error message went away.

I wanted to come back here and post the solution in case someone runs into this problem down the road.

Thanks again THX-1138

Thanks jetdv

I tried both an search and look at six months previous post and didn't turn up anything. I have Forge 8.0 also but never received an error message from that program, just Vegas.

Thanks
