Error Message Crash

I am not having any luck with tech support yet so I thought I would ask the Vegas users themselves. Whenever I open Vegas I get this ERROR MESSAGE -
Sony Vegas Pro 8.1
Version 8.1 (Build 171) 64-bit

Then it crashes. I have been using Vegas on this computer for 2 years now perfectly fine and now it just started doing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only luck I had with 8.1, was to uninstall and install 8.0 32bit. It will run just fine on a 64bit machine. Don't even waste your time with 8.1. It was a nightmare for me and I finally got a free upgrade to 9.0, because I bought the program right before the upgrade.
