error message-Timerun error

lately , when I try import from media to my projec
I get "RUNTIME ERROR"

this application has requested to terminat in an unusual manner
check with application support etc

any ideas anyone??
never used to do this
when i import from media - i get my "VIDEOS" folder
and before I can change to Pics - I get the error

hm, this is kind of scary. Are you using XP? Have you installed new software lately? Have you manually cleaned your harddisk (and deleted some files you shouldn't have)?
This is what I would do:
1) I'd would restart XP (and hope for the best): you never know!
2) I'd re-install Vegas
If the above doesn't help, I'd go for XP's 'system restore' and choose a date of which I know Vegas was still working fine.
