Hi,
I'm running Sony Vegas 10 pro on the same Windows 7 machine under different user accounts with different permissions. That is some accounts have administrator privileges,
others do not.
I'm finding that a Sony Vegas project created in one user account cannot be opened in a different user account. Both accounts can access the media files in the root of the hard
drive that Sony Vegas is trying to access and the reference paths to the videos is identical in both accounts (there is no '\user\' in the path address). If I create a project
with no media the problem persists.
I've also tried to edit the pre-rendered files folder and recorded files folder under project properties which by default specify user specific paths. Changing these to say
'C:\temp' does not remove the error.
The error I'm receiving is:
Warning: An error occurred while loading the project file.
The item was not found.
File C:\Images\filename.veg could not be opened
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Bruce
