i am on windows 2000 pro, my computer is all up for the vegas video. it has plenty of what it needs. now here is the problem.
when i open up vegas eveything appears fine. when i go into the explorer and attempt click on a video file i get this error:

AN error occured during the current operation
An exception has occured

then vegas.exe gets an error and it shuts the program down.

so i cannot open video files AT ALL. audio works fine. i had this problem on my last computer, but it just sorta went away after awhile. i have NO idea how i fixed it.

please help me. you are my only hope
