I STILL HAVE AN ERROR 'PROBLEM REPORT" ON EXITING THE PROGRAM.

I REINSTALLED VEGAS PRO 11 AND ALL NewBlue OFX FOR WINDOWS.

NOTHING HAS CHANGED. VEGAS PRO 11.0 CRASH...AGAIN, AGAIN AND AGAIN...

SINCE SONY SUPPORT NEVER REPLY. I MIGHT DROP VEGAS PRO 11.0 AND USED COREL OR ROXIO.. WH0 HAS A BETTER STABLE PROGRAM.

It seems that you also have a problem with a stuck caps-lock key ;)

I can understand your frustration but why shout at us ?

My wife taught me never to suppress someone else's emotions (unless they mean you harm). It's healthy to emote, if he wants to shout, let him shout. I could think of a LOT more destructive ways to vent your frustration!!!

I get those error reports on exiting as well. Although not all the time. First thing I would do if I were you is to uninstall any NewBlue plugins. I'm sorry to say, they are great plugins (when working correctly) but have been known to cause these types of instabilities. When I uninstalled NB Titler Pro, I dramatically decreased the amount of FREEZES, CRASHES and error reporting problems I received.

It's funny that all of the old teletype messages (about 100 years worth) concerning the military were in capitols. I wonder how this got interpreted to be shouting in the computer world?

>..... concerning the military were in
In English, capital letters are used as the first letter of a sentence, a proper noun, etc... A capitol is a building in which a legislature meets...

Blah, blah, blah....

Who cares.

You were more concern on the capital letters than a solution to the problem.

Obviously you don't know nothing excepted the Blah, blah, blah....

Thanks for your edvise, seems like you are the only one who understands the problem...

Some similar crashes, especially connected to NB Titler Pro, have been fixed for some users on the Win 7 platform simply by right clicking the Vegas Icon, selecting Properties, then selecting Compatibility Mode, and choosing Win 7.

Although this would seem unnecessary and counter-intuitive, it worked for me.

I cannot guarantee it will fix your crashes, but there seems to be no downside to trying it.

I've been reading Compatibility Mode in Win 7, Vista and Vista SP2. Is it a kind of thing where you just pick one and see which one works the best or is there some theory about which one might be a better choice?

I currently have mine set to Win 7 Compatibility Mode, but I still can't get ANY NewBlue plugins to work - and I've had the misfortune of purchasing most of them before Vegas 11 was released.

Notice I'm not shouting, EVEN THOUGH I FEEL LIKE IT!!!!
