Error using VV3 to burn DAO CD

Anybody else have this problem?

The drive has received an illegal command.

A few things to check:

-Are you using a brand of media that is approved by the manufacturer?

-Are there exactly two seconds of silence before the first track, and between each track after that?

-Do you have the latest firmware from the drive manufacturer?

Also check the version of ASPI, and make sure that all background programs are closed if you're using using Windows 98SE or ME.

Is that a requirement??

Isnt it ok to vary the space between tracks??

Usually, but some drives are picky about it. Not so much anymore, but that was somewhat common with older drives.
