Error when burning with Nero

Made a quick and dirty project with DVD-A. Did a DVD build, no errors, and when I went to burn the DVD (DVD-RW) with Nero, 10.7b, got the following error:

File size is not a multiple of a logical block size (2 KB)
DVD- Video files reallocation failed

I've click through the error and burning anyway... but this might be clue for some of the problems people have been having.

I let you know if the DVD plays on my Apex.

I had the same error from Nero and burned anyway and the disc would not play on my Apex (AD-1500). I later found a message (forgot if it was here or at Creative Cow) but someone mentioned using a straight UDF format from Nero instead of using it's DVD Movie template. I finally found out how to do this because I always had the Wizard start up so I didn't know where it was. To get that option (if the wizard comes up first) do this: Exit the wizard and once Nero is up use File->New or ctrl-N to bring up the New Compilation menu and choose 'DVD-ROM (UDF)'. Under the UDF tab make sure it's UDF 1.02 (this is advice from the other info I read). I left the 'Force DVD-Video Compatability mode' unchecked. The disc then worked on my Apex but have not tried it on the Xbox. I'd be curious to hear if it worked for you.

What model Apex do you have?

I got that error once when I was trying to make a dvd that was larger than the available space on the disc. Woulnd't burn from DVD-A or from Nero (which gave me the same error you mentioned. I recompressed, lowering the bit rat a little, and it burned with no problems.

May not be the same reason, but I did get the same error message about the block size.

I have the Ad-1050W, I think. The one they were selling for $48 at Walmart Christmas.

I have other DVD players but they won't read DVD-RW's. I do have a Xbox. Will try tommorrow.

I thought the 10.7b update from Nero was suppose to take care of that.
