Error when "preparing"

any idea what this means? i get this when rendering is ALMOST done.. i have made DVDs with DVA 1.0b with no problems and this is the first time ive done it the 1.0c update.. not sure if that has anything to do with it though..

everything is most rendered.. MPEP-2 and AC-3 and as its rendering give me this:

An error occured while writing the file. Error 0x8004e715

Seems as if this occurs while Building Video Object 6 of 9....
I have over 80 Gigs free on the hard drive
I have a 2.0 ghz machine with over 1 gig ram.. Sony DVD-R : (although as i said it hasnt errored when burning only RENDERING)

i used the word "render" alot..

it renders fine but when goes into preparing mode thats when it craps out..
any ideas?

oh also just discovered..

seems that whatver folder im "preparing" disappears and erases itself.

so if i create a folder named TEST.

prepare the DVD -> errors out -> look in my C: the folder TEST is missing

ok last thing...

i just rendered another DVD-A project with no problems...

anyone have any idea why a DVDA project would do this?

I have on my DVDA project...

2 Menus (which both link to 2 "mini" movies for a total of 4 movies..)
and a slide show..

lengeth is not even an hour.. size is about 3.7 gb

any thoughts?
